On Sunday, May 17th, treat yourself to deep conscious awareness and relaxation.
We'll begin our practice with a relaxing yin yoga session to release tension from the body in preparation for nidra and sound. It will be accompanied with sounds connecting you to the elements of nature to regulate the nervous system.
Throughout the nidra session, we will focus on yin breathwork for more of the duration - a gentle circular breath that deeply regulates the nervous system and will allow you to drop in more.
It is said that a yoga nidra session is equivalent to a few hours of sleep! Yoga nidra is the place between our awake and sleep state. It's activating deep conscious awareness, activating the parasympathetic nervous system, slowing down your brain waves. What else does this? Sound. Together, they are a powerful combination.
The sound bath will take you on a journey through nature with crystal singing bowls, tibetan bowls, drums, chimes and more. After these sessions, people line up to tell me they felt deeply relaxed for the first time in a long time.
